Description: Literature without borders is the main theme of the project in which the partners decide which literary works the students will read and on the basis of which literary works the students will learn, participate in filling out questionnaires, workshops, remote meetings, presenting works in the form of photos, posters, videos, participation in an online knowledge quiz, Kahoot, based on the content of the read literary work with an emphasis on the author(s), translator, illustrator, and publish the results of the works in a joint product in the format of a digital book Storyjumper.com, and everything is published on the websites of schools and social networks (FB, YouTube).

Age of participants: 15-18 years

Goal:

Literature without borders is the name of the project in which students will read a selected literary work independently and aloud, and based on the read content of the literary work, students will learn, participate in filling out questionnaires, workshops, remote meetings, presenting works in the form of photos, posters, videos, participation in an online knowledge quiz, Kahoot, based on the content of the read literary work with an emphasis on the author(s), translator, illustrator, and publish the results of the works in a joint product in the format of a digital book Storyjumper.com, and everything is published on school websites and social networks (FB, YouTube). The goal is to develop students' independence during learning, which is based on reading and the read text, according to which they independently form new knowledge in a creative way using information and communication technology, social networks and websites on which they publish their works, guided by the principle of safety, respect for copyright, and the student independently communicates with student partners in a safe digital environment using videoconferencing tools when presenting his research and works independently. The student presents, creates and shares ideas and works on a complex topic with the help of ICT.

Project progress: collaboration with partners: // calendar September 2023 - May 2024// students: presentation of work, virtual remote meetings, workshops, questionnaire, quiz Kahoot

September: students will introduce themselves with their photo or avatar created in a digital tool for creating avatars with a short description of their personal interests and hobbies; students will create a project logo and participate in the selection of the most interesting one; students will fill out a questionnaire about reading, the most interesting book...

September - October: students will take photos on the topic of literature without borders, select and prepare photos for the exhibition in physical and/or virtual space

November: students will choose which literary work they want to read, domestic or foreign writer; Read a selected work, read aloud remotely or just talk about the read work

December: students will create a poster based on a selected literary work using already created photos in the digital tool Canva or another tool; students will create a poster to promote the writer based on a photo drawing or a free choice of creative element

January: students will make a video promoting a literary work and a writer, reading

February: students will create a knowledge quiz about the read literary work in Kahoot; students will participate in a Kahoot quiz using eTwinning Room or another video conferencing tool

March: students will create certificates for all participants of the knowledge quiz, students will create a digital book in which they will incorporate all previously created works: photos, posters, videos, thank you notes in the digital tool Storyjumper.com

April - May: students will publish all their works on the school website and social networks; project evaluation

Expected results: Students' creative works will be published on TwinSpace, on school websites, social networks and the digital book Storyjumper.com, which will be interactive with photos, a virtual exhibition, video works, links to the read literary work that has become interesting and creative for students.

Description: Starting from the premise ” Wellbeing determines Welldoing”, we propose to add value to the European schools that have made progress in making use of the arts to support health and well-being, addressing the opportunities that exist in our curricula for using the Arts and Good Communication. The aim of this project is to develop activities, eventually in partnering with other stakeholders in order to engage the local youth, and raise awareness on the challenges that the fast paced contemporary life pose to the physical, emotional and mental health, finally resulting ” the effective medicine” W.I.W.A.C. meant to heal us and transform ourseleves in whole-rounded personalities. Our inspirational starting points are both the insight of the eTwinning annual theme of Wellbeing at school and the the report made public by World Health Organisation that underlines the potential value of the arts in contributing to core determinants of health: https://school-education.ec.europa.eu/en/insights/news/etwinning-annual-theme-2024-well-being-school https://www.who.int/initiatives/arts-and-health .

Aims

•Stimulating the general state of emotional health of students, as the main factor of school motivation and welldoing

• Stimulating students' self-esteem so related to bullying

•Developing communication competences, the core element for Wellbeing and Welldoing

•Stimulating the students` maximum potential and Excellence in Learning, through Arts and Communication. 

Expected Results

• Published articles, slide presentations, website

• The Wellbeing Project logo will be used in conjunction with this acknowledgement in all of the specific instances.

• Thematic videos

• Students` creations- consuming Arts and creating Arts

• An increased level of emotional maturity

• A clear vision of the social and professional future

• An obvious increase in motivation for learning

• Reducing the phenomenon of bullying

• Awareness of the importance of life skills: communication skills, empathy, character, time management, social intelligence, motivation and a sense of self-efficacy
